At least 50 people were killed at a outdoor country music festival in Las Vegas Sunday night in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

Suffolk Police say " there is no increased credible risk to Suffolk County" following a mass shooting that left at least 50 people dead and more than 200 injured at an outdoor country music festival in Las Vegas Sunday night.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and their families, as well as Las Vegas law enforcement and other first responders dealing with this horrendous attack," Suffolk Police Commissioner Tim Sini and Chief of Department Stuart Cameron said in a statement. "Video from the attack is reminiscent of combat footage and we laud the rapid and courageous response by Nevada law enforcement to end this extreme violence."
There was a large crowd at the Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival when gunfire rained down from the 32nd flood of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip at about 1 a.m. EST.

Country music star Jason Aldean was performing at the time. Also on stage at the time was Jake Owen, who told CNN Monday morning that he and other performers heard the gunshots and fled the stage and went to their nearby tour bus.
"It was just chaos," Owen said. "People just started scrambling."

The shooting continued for about 10 minutes, he said.
Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said that the shooter is dead and identified him as 62-year-old Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, a city about 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas near the Arizona state line.
Suffolk Police say they are actively monitoring intelligence about the shooting from a variety of sources, including the FBI.
"Currently there is no increased credible risk to Suffolk County. We remind the citizens of Suffolk County to be ever vigilant. If you see something, say something."
