Long Beach Coed 4s & Coed 6s Beach Volleyball Tournaments

East End Volleyball (EEVB) is hosting 4s and coed 6s tournaments throughout the summer in Long Beach, NY. The tournaments lead up to the 4s/Coed 6s Championships on August 29th at Long Beach. The schedule for men’s & women’s 4s is as follows: July 26, August 9, August 23 and August 29. Coed 6s will be offered on the following dates: July 26, August 9, August 16 and August 29.

Cash prizes for men’s and women’s 4s teams at the championship are $1,500 and $750 respectively. First and second place winners for coed 6s will win merchandise prizes from Volley America sponsors 4C Totally Light 2Go, Spalding, Rider Sandals, Reflekt Polarized, Sand Socks by Vincere, Sports Authority, Bally’s Casino, Park & Sun net systems, Dig Magazine, Horry County, Spike Key Beach, Red Roof Inns, Hytail Ponytail Hat, and South Shore Outdoors. In order to participate in the championships, all team members must have competed in at least one other 4s or coed 6s tournament during the summer or participate in one of the East End Volleyball leagues.

Any coed 4s teams will compete in the men’s 4s division. Coed 6s teams must have at least 2 females on the court at all times.

Volley America membership is required for participation is any of these events. Membership fees are $15 every year and can be done online at www.volleyamerica.com/.
