With Last Night's Presidential Debate-Did the Candidate's outline any Legislative Plan to implement Equality of Earnings? Where is NYS?

Maryann Maltese, a Former Top Legislative Regional Communications Manager and Chief of Staff for multiple Members of the NYS Legislature-several still holding offices; knows first hand how it feels to be undermined by one's employer-NYS.

While in public service; Maryann, held two Employment Titles at the same time during her tenure and was Paid for one employment title-although it's well documented that Maryann's professional career significantly improved the quality of life of the communities Maryann was dispersed too. Now; after 7 years of semi-retired Public Service; Maryann is calling out Top Female Governor Andrew Cuomo Staffer Members Stephanie Benton and Governor's Chief of Staff, Melissa DeRosa to get to the bottom of where Women's Equality of Earnings Bills and Legislation Implemented.

It's the 100 Anniversary Year of the Women's Movement and State of Emergency COVID19 doesn't grant New York State permission to avoid answering my NYS Public Service Complaint on the matter, as well as Advocating every single day for Women of New York State. In 2014; Our Boss-the Honorable Andrew Cuomo ran on the Democratic Line and Women's Equality Political Party-a Party to bridge women together from all sides of the aisles to work together on implementation of Laws ensuring the "validity and processes provided" for those women-like myself; to file claims and receive retroactive earnings. It's 7-Seven; Legislative Sessions later; the year is 2020; and many of us Women-who were underpaid by NYS have not yet received Retroactive Employment Compensation-and we are entitled to it, said Maryann Maltese

As a Communications Regional Manager, employed with the NYS Legislature Managed-Multiple State of Emergency Orders where our daily civil rights were limited; but under no circumstances did Maryann permit the ignorance projected this Legislation Session by NYS. Major State of Emergency Crisis Management Operations under Maltese's belt; HIV-AIDs Epidemic, HINI, Hurricane Sandy and 9-11 Recovery Operations; but my earnings during these civil service years have not been fully paid to me. Like a Veteran who is due employment compensation for service rendered; the same process of relief through State Legislation for State Legislative Governmental Employees is permutable. We as Legislative Staff Members do have have the Right to Unionize-we are bounded by the NYS Constitution-but upon Signing my Oath of Office every year-grants me the right to pursue a valid employment claim. Emails and Communications have gone DEAF; but that doesn't mean NYS has permission to do so. Our Oaths-similiar to the Veteran's Oaths requires my Employer-the Governor, as He is the Head of NYS-to respond and if warranted-which it is; implement required Legislative Action immediately-that is not at the Governor's Mercy-but he is acting as if it is, said Maryann Maltese.

So I ask Voters of the 12th NYS Assembly District-where I laid out a legislative platform on this matter, (Women's Equality of Earnings) and on other new issues of importance (please read the Patch)-what was the message last night by those candidates looking to be the next President, Vice President of the United States? Did they have a plan to implement the Women's Agenda Nationwide-or was it slogan only based? In NYS-We technically do not have updated rules of process to seek relief on Women's Equality of Earnings or Wages (did you know that?!) Where are we as a Nation on the matter? Feel free to post your commentary below-I love to hear from you.

I also suggest-You reach out to Benson and DeRosa; two top females within the Governor's administration-they'll probably offer you some materials of the skeletal outline of the Women's Agenda, but..... where is the mediation and resolution aspects to file claims?

Maryann Maltese-Managed Federal and State Political Campaigns, drafting Candidate Speeches-Talking Points for 33 Years; Maryann has her Political Science Degree from Queens College-and selected to be an Intern within the Legislature-a very noble accomplishment-I recommend it to my budding Political Scientists-feel free to reach out to me confidentially if you have questions. Maryann is also a Certified Substitute Teacher-Brentwood-UFSD-donating her time to students of the district. Get involved; 11-days and counting GOTV (Get out the vote).
