Man Found Dead Steps From His Door In Deer Park Identified: Police
The man was found in the snow steps from his home on Parkcenter Drive on Feb. 23, police say.
DEER PARK, NY — A Deer Park man who was found dead in the snow outside his residence last week has been identified, police said.
Mark Curtis, 64, of 7 Parkcenter Drive, was discovered buried in the snow near a walkway outside his home on Monday, February 23, at around 3:45 p.m., according to Suffolk County police.
Workers shoveling snow made the discovery and contacted authorities. Responding officers pronounced Curtis dead at the scene, police said.

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death. Detectives believe the cause of death to be non-criminal, police said.
The official cause of death has not yet been determined and will be established following an autopsy conducted by the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said.
