Man With Gun Breaks Into Deer Park Home

Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred in Deer Park last week.

Suffolk Police have just released information on the incident, which happened around 3:36 a.m. on March 16.

Police say a man entered a home on Golden Avenue, displayed a handgun and then stole a backpack containing a cellphone, cash and keys from the residence.

No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made. Police did not release any additional information.
