
DEER PARK, NY - A man robbed a bank in Deer Park Monday afternoon, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, the man entered TD Bank, located at 2178 Deer Park Ave., at 2:11 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the man’s demands and he fled the bank on foot north through the parking lot.
The robber was described as black, about 6-feet to 6-foot-2 and unshaven. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, red sweatpants and sunglasses, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
The Deer Park TD Bank was also robbed last July. A Centerport man was charged in that robbery and two others in the area. And in September, police say an admitted heroin addict tried to rob the bank.
