A man was shot in the leg during a robbery in Deer Park on Friday afternoon, police said.
According to police, the victim was approached by two men around 1:30 p.m. on Scott Avenue. The men shot the victim and stole cash from him, police said.
The victim self-transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
