Maryann Maltese offers constituent services and guidance

Maryann Maltese for NYS Assembly-12th AD is offering constituent assistance to Residents who live in the 12th AD and are experiencing hardships due to COVID 19 Pandemic Matters.

With the surge of Unemployment applications due to earning loss because of COVID 19 Pandemic and Social Distancing Mandates in place preventing residents from earning full earning potential-NYS has enacted some additional ways to be eligible.

In Newsday today, June 22, 2020-the paper reported close to 200,000 individuals who applied for UIB Pandemic and closures of local businesses who are not in compliance of Social Distance Orders-one of which is within the 12th Assembly District.

As a former Regional Communications Manager and Chief of Staff for multiple Members of the NYS Legislature both NYS Senate and NYS Assembly; Ms. Maltese's background in constituent services is one of the best in the industry. Maryann is a respected Semi-Retired NYS Public Service Worker who understands that COVID 19 has placed residents of my district in tough situations.

In response, I'm volunteering my services to Members of my district who might need some general guidance and help filling out UIB Pandemic Unemployment or HCR Rental Programs and Asset Management applications as a service to the district. This service goes hand in hand, with Maryann's life work and mission to be on-hands Elected going forward. Maryann Maltese has 18 years of Constituent Service Management and Oversight experiences and has been on the front lines during multiple State of Emergency Crisis'; and not is volunteering to assist.

Once Pandemic Social Distancing Orders are lifted in Suffolk-I'm happy to scheduled an appearance with larger groups. According to State of Emergency Pandemic Covid 19-groups of 10 are still the limit to gather; and as a former NYS Legislative Employee turned Candidate for NYS Assembly 12th-I do my best daily to respect the law, said Maryann Maltese. HCR and its newest measure, COVID 19 Rental Pandemic Program is to help TENANTS get themselves out of rental arrears to avoid future need for Eviction to be filed. Covid 19 has only allowed tenants to "temporarily" not pay their rents; but they are still responsible for the rental arrears. Job loss, furloughs, downsizing staff, loss of full earnings add more stress on matters. This is why-I'm offering my services to help Constituents in the 12th AD navigate the situation and submit applications for temporary or more permanent assistance. I believe in taking pro-active steps in my life and in my life's work-it doesn't always go my way; but I don't sit back and say "its going to get better if I don't move on on the issue".
