Maryann Maltese works on improving manufacturer coupon offers
Colgate Palmolive Submission #4IUZEQNK-To add ounce or not to ounce sizing-this is the question for Colgate Palmolive?

Maryann Maltese, Huntington Activist, submitted a complaint to Colgate Palmolive concerning their manufacturer rebate or coupon offerings.
Did you ever cut out one of the coupons above and realize it was unusable at one of your favorite Merchants; such as the Dollar Tree?
I recently visited the Dollar Tree and was unable to use a Manufacturers Coupon because the sizes of the product the coupon permits the rebate on was presently not in stock. Dollar Tree is not in position to honor the Manufacturer coupon if the product does not meet the Manufacturer's terms- because Dollar Tree does not receive the rebate from the Manufacturer. The language of my coupon was "Save $1.00 on any Colgate Toothpaste of 3.0 and above". Once in awhile-I like to try a new product and the Dollar Tree often provides retailers an outlet to test their products. The Dollar Tree has 4 major locations within the NYS Assembly District. These Retailers-Outlets where you can find awesome deals you can use manufacturer coupons. Colgate-Palmolive needs to get on board within our community-as we are Shopping where they send their products too-it would be lovely to find the Size of the product the Manufacturers are testing. Wording within the Manufacturer's coupon MUST permit a customer full usage of their rebate savings makes common sense-because the Manufacturer is not in violation of any deceptive tactics-but if the Retailer processes the Savings-they become responsible to absorb the costs-which could fall on too a Retail associate-which is not good as they live in our community.

This is why it's up to the Manufacturer's to pay more attention to the language they draft in their rebate offerings-so consumers like us-get rewarded of the Savings the Manufacturer offers. This makes logical sense as the Neighborhood economics has a strong Retail presence.
Instead of sitting back and screaming-I took the lead and contacted Colgate-Palmolive to consider eliminating the Ounce required size language in some of their manufacturer offerings which are being distributed by our favorite Home Shopper or Penny Saver publications. I love these publications-reading up on the Communities good measure moments and things that are of interests to you. I too, love it when I can use a Manufacturer Coupon to try something first-a new product. What's your thoughts on this?-send me a note. My request forwarded to Colgate Palmolive Submission is #4IUZEQNK and my suggestions are under review. Check out Colgate Palmolive's website at https://colgatepalmolive.yet2.com/auth/ms.jsf or your favorite Products websites to submit inquiries or suggestions-because by doing -these Companies will be inclined to listen and make changes on languages detailed on their Manufacturer coupons.

I encourage Consumers to take proactive steps and if you notice that your unable to use your favorite products manufacturer coupons-submit a quick email or suggestion to the company in order for Company to take it seriously it will revamp their Communications on rebate usage. We're facing some tough fiscal times; many of us still not back to work or at school full-time-and submitting suggestive changes as a unit-will get the Manufacturers to circulate updated manufacturer coupons.
