Massage Parlor Closes After 14 Code Violations: SCPD

The business was shut down and three women were arrested during a massage parlor raid last week, police say.

DEER PARK, NY - Three women were arrested during a massage parlor raid on Saturday for providing unlicensed massages at a Deer Park business, according to Suffolk Police.

In response to a community complaints, officers, along with the Town of Babylon Deputy Commissioner of Public Safety, the Town of Babylon Fire Marshall, the Town of Babylon Building Inspector and the Town of Babylon Code Enforcement, conducted an investigation on Sovereign Spa Inc., which was doing business as Green Center Foot Spa on 1955C Deer Park Avenue, police said.

As a result, 55-year-old Meixiang Deng, 40-year-old Hong F. Du and 51-year-old Wei Zheng, all of Flushing, were arrested, police said.

All three were charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, police said.

In addition, the Town of Babylon Quality of Life Task Force issued 14 combined Building, Fire and Code Violations to the tenant. As a result of the violations the establishment was condemned and closed.

Deng, Du and Zheng are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 14, 2019.
