The North Babylon High School Academic Team‘s varsity and junior varsity quiz bowl groups competed in the Long Island Regional Quiz Bowl Playoff tournament, and both achieved high rankings.
Following their performances, both teams are ranked first in Southwestern Suffolk County. The junior varsity group, comprised of captains Zachary Thomas and Haggai Anglade, and freshmen Noah Rothstein, Matthew Pecoraro and Brett Manzo, is ranked third place on Long Island.
