North Babylon Boy Scout Troop 399's at North Babylon Beautification Day

On Saturday May 20th, North Babylon Boy Scout Troop 399 assisted with the beautification of their community for the annual North Babylon Street Fair. Flowers were planted in several areas along Deer Park Avenue including the traffic triangle at the junction of 231 and Deer Park Avenue. On Saturday, May 13th, Scouts also joined the Lions Club to assist in the washing and waxing of the antique fire truck that was used to transport Wayne Horsley- 2017 Grand Marshal, in the street fair parade. Boy Scout Troop 399 meetings are held each Thursday evening that schools are open at 7:30pm in the Marion G. Vedder Elementary School cafeteria. Troop 399 is a Boy Scout Troop based in North Babylon, NY and a member of the Sagtikos District of BSA’s Suffolk County Council. It is sponsored by the North Babylon Lions Club. Originally chartered in 1975, Troop 399 has been serving the community, turning boys into leaders and giving families the opportunity to participate in Scouting for 40 years.
