The North Babylon Union Free School District is proud to announce that a total of 56 students, spanning grades 6-12, were recently selected as 2021 All-County music students by the Suffolk County Music Educators Association (SCMEA) and the New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education (NYSCAME.)
These talented musicians were recommended by their teachers for exemplifying outstanding accomplishments in music and at local New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) festivals. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the in-person festivals have been cancelled. However, according to Director of Music and Art Kim Lowenborg- Coyne, festival organizers are working on a celebratory virtual experience for early 2021. Congratulations to North Babylon students and their families!
