North Babylon Students Recognized For Musical Excellence
North Babylon High School Chamber Music Society participated at the annual LISFA Chamber Music Festival.

DEER PARK-NORTH BABYLON, NY - From North Babylon School District: The North Babylon School District extends its congratulations to students who have been recognized for their musical excellence by the Long Island String Music Festival Association.
Students Cayla Hunte, Crystal Wu, Colin McDonald, Summer Marshall, Kevin Chicas and Ashley Brown were selected for the LISFA Intermediate Festival, while Carolyn Consentino, Jewel Brown and Esther Duclair were selected for the LISFA Secondary Festival.
In addition, members of the North Babylon High School Chamber Music Society auditioned and were accepted to the annual LISFA Chamber Music Festival. Participating students were Brian Nelson, Stephanie Reis, Bayinah Agant, Joseph Shepherd, Emily Guerra, Isabella Soto, Jaime Crafa, Kirsten Keane, Giselle Ust, Emily Thiele, Junianna Borgia, Jewel Brown and Carolyn Consentino. These students joined chamber music groups from Suffolk County for a day of instruction and performance with members of the Bryant Park String Ensemble. The North Babylon students worked in three different groups, with each group playing a movement of W.A. Mozart’s String Quartet #4 in C Major.
