The district’s reopening plan allowed for families to choose between a hybrid, in-person or remote education model. Students, whose families chose the remote model, also began classes on Sept. 14. Remote instruction will include a combination of daily synchronous instruction using Google Meet and asynchronous instruction using Google Classroom and other software applications.
After settling in, teachers introduced all students to their new learning environments and initiated ice-breaking activities for classmates to safely interact with their peers, make new friends and reconnect with old ones.
