Older Man Tried To Talk To Middle School Girls Getting Off Bus

DEER PARK, NY - The Deer Park School District is warning the community of an incident that occurred last week. According to a note from the district, last Friday afternoon an incident occurred at the corner of Lake Avenue and West 13th Street while students from Robert Frost Middle School students were exiting their school bus.

While they were getting off the bus, an older Caucasian man with strawberry blonde hair who was sitting in a green/blue four-door Saturn nearby tried to talk to the female students as they walked past his car.

He was reportedly saying "Hi, sweetie," and "How was school girls?" to the students walking by. The same man was seen at the same location the day before. The police have been notified.

His car is described has having missing back and left rear side windows which are covered in plastic. The license plate number is BDV 9797.
