Parent Reports Threat Made Against Her Son, Robert Frost Middle
BREAKING: "There has been no credible evidence uncovered that supports this reported information at this point," the district says.

There will be an increased police presence at Deer Park High School and Robert Frost Middle School on Tuesday.
Here's the message parents received from the Deer Park School District Monday night:
This weekend we received an email from a parent informing us of a threat made against her son and the RF Middle School. We have been working with the 1st Precinct on this since Saturday. There has been no credible evidence uncovered that supports this reported information at this point. Several HS and MS students and their parents have been interviewed, and one student's house was searched. Nothing was uncovered during that search, but the investigation continues.

To err on the side of caution, we have requested an increased police presence at the HS and RF tomorrow. To further secure the buildings, tomorrow morning no student will be admitted into the building without having their bags checked. There will be one point of entry at the front lobby of both buildings.
