Parliament Students Tell A Story
Students in Anna Montuori's class at Parliament Place Elementary School participated in the 'Tell Me a Story' program.
From the North Babylon School District: Students in Anna Montuori’s class at Parliament Place Elementary School in the North Babylon School District told personal stories about their respective cultures as part of “Tell me a story,” a program based on the trade book, “Knots on a Counting Rope.”
With their family members in attendance, some students recited their stories about emigrating while others read about their research on various topics including their cultures, names, foods and more. The activity was the culmination to the class’ thematic unit on cultural perspectives.
