Police Seek Man Who Broke Into Car in Melville

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a man who broke into a vehicle in Melville last week.

According to police, the man pictured above stole items from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on Northcote Drive on Aug. 6. The man stole miscellaneous items from the vehicle and then fled, police say.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
