A 56-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car and hospitalized back in July. Police seeking the public's help to find the driver.

DEER PARK, NY - Suffolk Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and find the driver of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian in Deer Park in July.
Vanessa Tisdale, 56, was crossing the street in front of 321 Bay Shore Road when she was struck by a car on July 10 at 2 a.m.
Tisdale was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of serious injuries and subsequently transported to a rehabilitation facility.

The vehicle was described as a dark-colored sedan.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
