President Inauguration's Speech-Where do Women Stand in Equality?

As President Joe Biden addresses the Nation; it 's clear that Women's Civil Rights-their rights to Earnings Equality be Executive Ordered and mandated throughout the States. States are sovereign meaning they can delay or not implement federal requirements of Equality and NYS is lacking in Women's Equality in State code. This is the reason Women are still being issued discriminatory employment contracts.

The NYS Legislature is the largest Employer in NYS and continues to. issue discriminatory employment contracts to Women in the Legislative Workforce. In 2014; through 2017 New York State Budgets-the Women's Agenda-NYS Passed Broad based languages acknowledging wrong doing as an Employer (discrimination of employment contracts to Women)-but has not followed through on the Correction Languages to issue the "required corrective earnings or back pay" to the Women entitled. I'm one of these Women of State Legislative Process with tenureship my years of State Legislation Service 1994-2013 where the Legislature as my Employer issued discriminatory contracts. It's2021; a New State Legislature took their Oaths of Office of Service on January 6th, 2021; Legislation or Executive Order Must and is required to direct NYS to issue the Back Earnings to myself and to perhaps other Women who provided exceptional work performances and are entitled to their back earnings.

Last year; the 100th Anniversary Year of Women's Right To Vote-which granted Women the ability to lead and run for elective offices did not include State Executive Orders by Governor Andrew Cuomo to "direct NYS to issue the earnings". No male staff Member within the NYS Legislature has waited 8 years for their outstanding earnings-if I'm wrong-someone correct me. The present process for the NYS Legislature to issue earnings due is the inactive status or active status employee must put NYS on notice within 30 days and provide evidence to have their employment claim reviewed. I have provided evidence that is acceptable forms of proof; such as my annual Social Security Statement that details my "earnings reported by NYS Legislature to Social Security" as acceptable form of proof to cross-reference among my tenured peers in or out of State Legislative Service.

Inactive State Service means one is in good standing; like the reserves and can reenter the State or Civil Service Employment workforce at any given time. During my tenure; I have helped thousands of constituents, NYS residents with quality of life matters and creation of policies that improve New Yorker's lives; Ie; Universal Pre-K, NYS STAR Property Tax Exemption, Aids Confidentiality Law, Lymphedema Awareness Law, the 9-11 Fire Fighter's emergency fund and a number of other rules of law. But Women's Equality Rights still lingers......it can no longer be this way in New York State. It's an outdated mandate being utilized at times by Employers to permit them permission to issue discriminatory employment contracts-it's poor business practices at large and continues to keep Women disenfranchised in every aspect of their lives.

Women as a Class deserve New York State to set the "precedent right"; and it begins by NYS as the Employer to make good on a declared and voted on process within their prior State Budgets.

Today; President Joesph Biden; through his own Executive Order Power can enforce New York State Legislature to follow though on this-Women's Earnings Equality because NYS Legislature is in contempt of the practicality of it's declared mission.

As we remember Late Dr.Martin Luther King; who stood for Black Men to be included in a White Man's world; Women at Large are still waiting for the roots of our equality to be planted in New York State. The symbolism of that Planting is necessary because we-the Women in New York State "do not want to leave our profound rights to A Leaders' Discretion any longer." This weekend it's about that-Celebrating One's Civil Rights and when they were issued.
