Robert Moses Middle School in the North Babylon School District hosted a summer reading celebration for more than 150 of its sixth-graders.
From North Babylon School District: In October, Robert Moses Middle School in the North Babylon School District hosted a summer reading celebration for more than 150 of its sixth-graders. The event, which showcased students’ work and tasked them with completing book-related activities, featured a theme of kindness and compassion. Students worked in groups and were invited to enjoy ice cream as a way of celebrating their continued development of literacy skills.
