School Nativity Keeps the Spirit in Christmas

Saints Cyril and Methodius 1st and 2nd Graders treat Parish Congregation to a Blessed Nativity Story and More

Wide-eyed angels and sceptered shepherds from Saints Cyril and Methodius Elementary School gifted onlookers with a special School Mass just before the Christmas break. The assembly was complete with donkeys, camels, sheep, the Three Wise Men, Joseph, Mother Mary, and a Baby Jesus. First and second grade students treated the 8:30am congregation to songs, prayer, poems and an enactment of the Nativity Story. Father Vinny spoke of the reason for the season, Jesus, and the young and old attending the Mass felt the spirit of Christmas. Many thanks to the students and teachers who worked tirelessly at putting together this special school Mass and who proclaimed the Word in such a vibrant and spirited manner. For more information on getting involved at SSCM School, call the school office at 1.631.667.4044, click over to www.sscmweb.org, or come visit us at our Open House on January 25th, from 10:30am - 1:00pm.
