Silver Alert Issued For Copiague Woman With Dementia

COPIAGUE, NY - Suffolk Police have issued a silver alert on Thursday for a missing Copiague woman who suffers from early onset dementia.

Barbara Washington, 77, was last seen on October 25 wearing a black turtleneck, red sweater jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.

She is believed to be on foot, possibly walking in the Amityville or the eastern Massapequa area.

Washington (pictured above) is described as 5-foot-2 and 90 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information on Washington’s location is asked to call 911 or the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
