The North Babylon Board of Education recently accepted Stack’s Auto Service & Tires’ donation of a used car to North Babylon High School.
The car, which is valued at $3,500, will be used for demonstration and instruction in James Haley’s car care class. It will replace the 1970s vehicle that Mr. Haley’s class had been using.
“It is great to have hands-on learning experiences and support from the community for our tech programs,” Principal Jonathan Klomp said.
