Teen Critically Injured In Suffolk County Shooting
Police didn't find a victim when they responded to a call of shots fired, but a teen with a gunshot wound soon turned up at a hospital.

WYANDANCH, NY – A teen was critically injured after being shot in Suffolk County early Saturday, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, First Precinct officers responded to a call of shots fired on N. 26th Street in Wyandanch at about 1:40 a.m. A short time later, an 18-year-old male was found at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. The victim, who was self-transported to the hospital, is in critical condition.
First Squad Detectives are investigating if the two incidents are connected. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
