Thirteen JFK Artworks Selected for SCALA Show
The artwork was chosen by Principal Susan Bonner and several staff members.

Recognizing the strength of the art program at Deer Park’s John F. Kennedy Intermediate School, 13 student artworks were selected for this Suffolk County Art Leaders Association Children’s Show. Their pieces were put on display at Babylon’s Old Town Hall from Feb. 10 through March 5.
This is the fourth year in a row that JFK has participated in SCALA’s annual children’s art exhibition, held in cooperation with the Babylon Citizens Council of the Arts. The artwork was chosen by Principal Susan Bonner and several staff members, according to JFK art teacher Laurie Schwartz, who will join the students and their families for a special ceremony and reception at Old Town Hall on March 5.
