WHAT: The Town of Babylon will be hosting its inaugural Kayaking for a Cause event. Each year the Town of Babylon Veterans Advisory Council will choose a local veterans group as the proceeds recipient. This year’s recipient is the Hunter Squires Jackson American Legion Post 1218. More than 100 Long Island kayakers and friends of all ages will choose from among three possible trails, Beginner (2.5 miles), Intermediate (3.5 miles) and Advanced (5.5 miles). After the tour, lunch will be served at the Beach Hut at Cedar Beach.

Cost:
$35 for adults
$15 for ages 12-under
