Violinists and Vocalists Fill the Spring Air at SSCM
Saints Cyril and Methodius in Deer Park held their annual Spring Concert
Deer Park’s Saints Cyril and Methodius School students delighted show-goers at their Spring Concert. Displaying their talents, the students put on quite a show, from rousing band performances to violin and keyboard orchestrations and even a bucket drumming number! Heading up the charge were band leader, Mrs. Maglio and music teacher, Mrs. Sandkuhl, who have been working with students in every grade for months, and their hard work has paid off!
See snapshots of all of the excitement in the photo gallery below.
Eighth graders brought tears to the audience's eyes with a beautiful flag folding ceremony which they learned from VFW Sergeant-at-Arms, Tom Horn, a few weeks back.

Songs of peace and love and kindness and spirit rang through the air and the students have never looked like they were having more fun while showcasing their skills. In fact, a fun time was had by all, with the full house clapping along to the student body's closing number, "Happy" - final lyrics adjusted to close out the concert singing about how much they love SSCM. Heartfelt congratulations to all of our performers for delighting us with a beautiful Spring Concert!
