Visions for Vacancies: Former Mandee Store in Sunset City

The former Mandee location in North Babylon's Sunset City shopping center remains vacant and waiting for a new tenant. 

Island Recreational opened a pool supplies store at the location last year but it closed in the fall. 

An employee at the Avenue store next door told Patch she hopes "some kind of retail" store moves into the spot. 

Traffic to the shopping center may get a boost soon as a Starbucks is set to open soon at the corner of Deer Park Avenue and Woods Road.
