WATCH: Man Uses Stolen Credit Card in Melville
The credit card belonged to an elderly woman, police said.
Police are looking to identify the man who used an elderly woman’s credit card at a Melville gas station on June 1.
According to authorities, the man, who is wanted for grand larceny, used the credit card to buy cigarettes at Shell, located at 1010 Walt Whitman Road, at 4:30 p.m.
Earlier that day, a purse containing the credit card was stolen from an elderly woman’s shopping cart at Waldbaums, located at 890 Walt Whitman Road in Melville, police said.
