Weekend Planner: Chinese Auctions

North Babylon Community Youth Services is holding a Chinese Auction Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the North Babylon Teen Center, 213 Phelps Ln, North Babylon. Tickets are $5.

The Deer Park Community Center is also holding its annual Chinese Auction fundraiser tonight. Admission is $5 with 20 tickets. Doors open at 6:00 auction starts at 7:30. No children younger than 5 and no strollers. Free coffee and cake and snack bar open. For more information call 631 667-6665

South Shore Theatre Experience presents The Eight: Reindeer Monologues by Jeff Goode. In this dark Christmas comedy, scandal erupts at the North Pole (for mature audiences). Performances are Dec. 14, 15 at 8 p.m. and Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. at the BaCCA Performing Arts Center, (149 N. Wellwood Ave., Lindenhurst). All tickets $15.

The Deer Park Public Library will present a Free Teen Movie and Pizza: 'Big Miracle' on Friday at 3:30 p.m.

The North Babylon Public Library will present a Free Movie: 'Hope Springs'  at 1 p.m.

The ice skating rink at Tanger Outlets at The Arches is open. A live DJ will keep the beats going Friday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
