Weekend Planner: Drive-in Movie, Concert, Farmers Market
This weekend brings an old fashioned drive-in movie and a free concert.
Thank goodness it is Friday – the weekend is here again with a ton of fun happening around our area this weekend. The weather has been uncooperative all week long and it'll remain somewhat stormy Friday through Sunday with isolated thunderstorms on tap, so keep an umbrella handy and an eye to the sky incase dark clouds roll in. Temperatures will finally warm up to where they should be – mid-to-upper 70's all weekend long.
The weekend's fun kicks off starting at 3:30pm on Friday to watch last year's smash hit movie , the Marvel comic book character's story on the big screen, at the Deer Park Public Library. The event is free and includes pizza during the movie. Rated PG-13.
If one movie was not enough, head down to the Town of Babylon's Overlook Beach at 8:30pm to : Dolphin Tale. The PG-rated movie centers on the friendship between a boy and an injured dolphin. The movie will cost $10.00, but all proceeds go towards a donation to the 9/11 Memorial.
