According to the New York Blood Center, 40,000 pints of blood are transfused each day in the United States.

WHAT: According to the New York Blood Center, 40,000 pints of blood are transfused each day in the United States. Westfield South Shore mall will host a blood drive in conjunction with Long Island Blood Services, a division of New York Blood Center, on Saturday, April 11th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
