“Our district is so thankful to the John Theissen Children’s Foundation for the generous gifts they donated to our schools,” said Dr. Gina Talbert, superintendent of schools. “This year has been difficult and changed so many things for everyone. The toys brought comfort and happiness to our students and their families.”
Due to the pandemic, students chose their toy a little differently in order to follow social distancing guidelines. With toys spread out on tables, students made their selection in small groups choosing from a variety of toys such as puzzles, coloring sets, mermaid blankets, LEGO sets, stuffed animal and more.
