Each special area teacher was assigned a different park to virtually guide students through and conduct different activities within their content area of gym, art, library, computer technology, music and character education. At the end of the week, students had virtually visited all four parks.
After an exciting week of learning, students were challenged to write or draw a response to the experience for a chance to win a prize. Fully virtual, hybrid and in-person students all participated. Twenty students were chosen to receive a book or blanket of their choice based on their written or artistic response to their experiential learning.
