8 Head Staples For Brooklyn Bus Rider Beaten With Gun, Cops Say

Police are looking for two women and one man who jumped a Brooklyn bus rider, punched him in the face and pistol whipped him.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- A Brooklyn bus passenger needed eight staples in his head after he was jumped by two women and a man who beat him with a gun, police said.

The 28-year-old began arguing with his attacker on a southbound B17 bus near Remsen Avenue and Avenue D at about 3:40 p.m. on Jan. 8, said police.

Two women and the man followed the 28-year-old off the bus, jumped on top of him and began to punch him in the face, according to police.

The man then whipped a gun out a tote bag, beat his victim's head with it and fled, police said.

Emergency responders rushed the 28-year-old to Brookdale Hospital for treatment, said police.

Police released photos of the suspects late Tuesday night and asked anyone with information to contact the NYPD.
