One of my neighbors in our condo building on Ocean Avenue sent this note to Ditmas Park Corner and we wanted to share here, too. If anyone has any information, please share!
Some of us face those beautiful Victorian houses which make the charm of our neighborhood.
Except that one of them has a faulty alarm system, which goes on all guns a-blazing in the middle of the night. Just this past week, it went on on the night of Friday August 2nd at 5.30 AM, on Monday evening at 10PM and on the night of Monday at 5.50. Before that, it also happened the week-end before, and again before that, and before that and also last year. Usually only in the Summer, but it's becoming very annoying.
I have called 311 to make a complaint to DEP but I do not know for sure which house this is coming from. Is there anyway that you guys could ask on your blog if anyone knows with certainty? I am quite convinced that a lot of people in my hood are concerned with this problem. It's probably one of the house on E18th or E19th street, between Foster Ave and Glenwood.
Ultimately, my goal is to reach out to the owner and ask him politely to get him alarm fixed. But in the mean time, all I can do is raise awareness amongst my neighbors and reach out to 311.
