Ditmas Park Elevator Sexual Assault: Police Charge 18-Year-Old Man
Marck Beaubrun will appear in court Wednesday, Jan. 11.
DITMAS PARK, BROOKLYN — Police arrested an 18-year-old Brooklyn man for the sexual assault of a woman in a Ditmas Park elevator Jan. 1.
At around 10:35 p.m. Jan. 1, a 22-year-old woman walked into her residence in Ditmas Park and encountered Marck Beaubrun, police said.
Beaubrun engaged in conversation with the woman and entered the elevator with her. As the two rode the elevator to the woman's floor, Beaubrun began to grab the woman, threw her to the ground and tried to remove her pants, police told Patch.

The woman screamed, and Beaubrun fled when the doors of the elevator opened, police said.
The woman was treated and released at the scene by EMS.

Police arrested Beaubrun on Jan. 5. He was charged with rape, robbery, burglary, sex abuse and assault, police told Patch.
Beaubrun will appear in Kings Criminal Court Wednesday, Jan. 11.
