The Civilian Complaint Review Board is a neutral City agency that investigates and mediates complaints against NYPD officers. The CCRB investigates a wide range of complaints including allegations of excessive force, abuse of authority, discourtesy, and offensive language. Our presentations explain how to file a complaint against a police officer and detail the structure and powers of the CCRB. We also discuss civilian rights and responsibilities during police encounters. Please join us for a presentation, free of charge, on Tues. 1/29 at 1 pm at Third Root.
