Terrarium making class for kids

Make your own Terrarium to have a bit of green to behold until spring comes again!

We will be creating a miniature landscape within an enclosed container using rocks, soil, various plants, and figurines. Students will pick a container and will be guided step by step through the process of building up a drainage layer, a soils layer, and planting their plants in creative and interesting ways. They will have the choice of adding natural features such as rocks and pine cones, and populating their world s with a variety of animals, insects and even dinosaurs.
