Two renowned Iranian physicians, Arash and Kamiar Alaei, who were incarcerated in Tehran’s Evin prison after attempting to halt the spread of HIV/AIDS, visit SUNY Downstate Medical Center Thursday, November 8 to discuss HIV and Global Human Rights.
Their presentation will take place from 12 noon to 1:00 pm, in Lecture Hall 1 B, 395 Lenox Road, Brooklyn, NY 11203. For more information, call 718-270-1176.
The Alaei brothers spoke at Downstate earlier this year. Their visit is sponsored by SUNY Downstate’s John Conley Division of Medical Ethics and Humanities and the HIV Center for Women and Children.
