We tried Kumo Sushi out for the first time tonight, and were somewhat more impressed than commenters here, who have been giving it lukewarm reviews. (Maybe it was the low expectation!)
Anyway, at this point there's as much a formula to a decent sushi place as there is to a decent Greek diner, and Kumo seems more than up to that challenge: The sushi was all fresh (we saw them frantically taking a fish delivery this afternoon, in fact) and perfectly good, and the shumai was pretty tasty too. It's not Blue Ribbon Sushi -- but the prices aren't Blue Ribbon either.
Also important: The service was friendly and quick, nearly glitch-free on a very busy second night, and with comfortable booths, brick walls, and quiet music, it's a pleasant place to sit and eat.
So check it out tomorrow -- dinner is 30% off tonight and Tuesday.
