I have live in on Dorchester Road for over 40 years. Went to school at P.S. 139, Ditmas J.H.S. I walked out of my house to see that The walls of the bridge of the train orchester between East 16th and Marlborough Road has been painted with blocks of mutil colored strips. I think it's tasteless and takes away beauty of the neighborhood. I do understand that that there is a volunteer group doing this and its on there on time ( thank you) but I think a petition should have went out having all neighbors that reside in the area to sign for approval. This also goes to the people that live on the opposite side of East 16th between Dorchester and Ditmas Roads. Also, What about asking the neighbors that live in the apartment building where it's next too. I have walked around the neighborhood and heard people talk about how it's ugly and what if they painted there house red wouldn't that take away from neighborhood! My complaint is that it should have been petition first with the joining blocks and I suggest putting a muriel like the one on the side of the Food Coop. Not something that looks like a painting from a child's notebook.....
