The thundersnow was convenient for pretty much no one, but it wasn't ugly either.
DITMAS PARK, BROOKYLN — A thunder-snowing nor'easter hit Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon and left hunched New Yorkers battling wet weather and howling winds.
Forecasters predict the neighborhood will be hit with about eight to 12 inches of snow — which is bad for anyone forced to commute home from school — but beautiful for taking pictures in Ditmas Park, the home of a crazy amount of mansions.
So that’s what Patch did, we braved the storm so you wouldn’t have to. Check out our newly frosted tree-lined streets, our subway stations and our swath of Cortelyou Road in the midst of a storm.
