Does your young scientist absolutely love animals? On Saturday, May 11th, we have over a dozen different species visiting the classroom! Get hands on and personal with reptiles, mammals, amphibians, and invertebrates. This is a drop-off class, geared toward children age 2.5 to 6 years old.
Science Saturdays is a theme-based program that incorporates the use of hands-on projects and child-led exploration in order to engage children in looking at their world through scientific eyes.
The Science Saturdays program is the recent recipient of a private grant aimed at making quality science education accessible to an increased number of New York City children.
