Subway Screwdriver Stabber Stole $300 From Sleeping Man, Cops Say
Police released photos of a man they hope to question about the attack early Friday morning.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN -- The man who stabbed a sleeping man in the head with a screwdriver on a Brooklyn train was seen dashing out of the station after robbing his victim of $300, police said.
A 29-year-old man was resting on a northbound 2 train at the Beverly Road station at about 2 p.m. Thursday when another man attacked him unprovoked, said police.
The suspect stabbed the 29-year-old, robbed him of his cash, then dashed out of the station, according to police.

The injured man is expected to survive his injuries and police are still looking for a suspect seen leaving the station shortly after the attack.
Police released photos of a man they would like to question — whom they describe in his 30s, standing about 5-foot, 10-inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds — Friday morning.
