Teen Sexually Assaulted at Brooklyn Playground: NYPD

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Police are investigating after an 18-year-old was sexually assaulted by three men at a playground in Brownsville, the NYPD said Saturday.

Police said the victim was with a male friend at the Osborn Playground Thursday around 9 p.m. when they were approached by five males. One of the males pulled out a firearm and told the victim’s friend to leave, police said.

At this point, the victim’s friend ran off to get help. According to police, three of the five men sexually assaulted the victim and fled the location when the victim’s friend returned with help.

The victim was transported to Kings County Hospital.

Police are investigating the incident and no suspects are currently in custody. Police have released surveillance video of the suspects sought in the case.
