• Coltrane 100 Marks John Coltrane's Centennial With Global Celebration (gratefulweb.com) — Dix Hills jazz fans will soon be able to tour the John and Alice Coltrane Home, where Coltrane wrote A Love Supreme, as it prepares to open after decades of fundraising and renovation. The centennial celebration also brings concerts, listening events, archival releases, and a new photo book, with several performances and programs happening in New York City and nearby this fall.
