• 'Dangerous' Coyote Bites Dog During Walk In Dobbs Ferry: Police (dailyvoice.com) — A coyote deemed “dangerous” by Dobbs Ferry Police reportedly bit a dog on Clinton Avenue, prompting stepped-up patrols and authorization for officers to kill the animal if necessary. Residents, especially near Clinton Avenue, are urged to stay alert when outside with pets, report aggressive behavior to police, and contact health officials and veterinarians if their animals are bitten or scratched.
   

• Governor announces grant to Greenburgh- pedestrians will be able to walk from Yonkers-WP on Central Ave (patch.com) — Greenburgh has secured a $4.7 million state grant to close dangerous sidewalk gaps along Central Avenue between White Plains and Yonkers, improving safety for walkers and cyclists who travel near Dobbs Ferry. Separately, officials highlight a $1 million federal grant that already funded the Dobbs Ferry Road sidewalk project in 2025–26, part of a broader push to make the town more walkable.
